Palestine Hotel update....
Well, thankfully Jon Lee Anderson was not listed among the journalists killed in the American strike on the Palestine Hotel in Baghdad on Monday. (Condolences to the loved ones of the journalists who were killed.) I'm not certain even that Anderson remains in Baghdad, although the upcoming New Yorker has his byline from Baghdad.This is the story that made me care. Something touching about how he and Paul McGeough, of the Sydney Morning Herald, "bomb-proofed" their room with pink masking tape.

As for the Iraq Peace Team, from what I can gather, no members were killed in the strike on the Palestine Hotel. Thanks be.
